The meal I received was far from satisfactory. I had ordered a chile relleno for takeout, and once I got it home, I was quite surprised to find that the chile itself was not a whole pepper at all. Instead, it seemed to be just a small slice of pepper cooked within the batter. This discovery, especially given the price, left me profoundly disappointed.

I truly believe this spot serves the finest breakfast around. I was quite taken aback to find several open tables on a Sunday morning, especially since the food remained absolutely fantastic. Just remember to bring cash, as it's their only accepted payment method. I definitely recommend exploring their menu for some excellent dishes.

I was absolutely delighted with my Sampler #3, which featured perfectly cooked ham, fluffy scrambled eggs, and a delicious biscuit smothered in gravy. This establishment offers a wonderfully welcoming and home-like atmosphere, ideal for enjoying a meal. Just a friendly heads-up: they operate on a cash or check-only basis, so leave your credit cards at home.

Our journey from San Francisco to Mammoth Lakes included a fantastic stop at this cafe, where we enjoyed a truly satisfying meal. The interior design immediately caught our eye with its delightful and imaginative charm, complemented by the exceptionally welcoming staff. Their incredible hospitality extended to refilling our water bottles with refreshing ice-cold water and even providing us with coffee for the road. We savored the wonderfully fluffy and delicious pancakes, alongside an absolutely incredible breakfast bread bowl. Without a doubt, this will be a mandatory stop for us on future trips!

During a weekend trip to Jamestown, we were looking for good dining options and Woods Creek Café was highly suggested, noted for its impressive 5-star rating on Yelp. We decided to give it a try, and upon arrival, the place was bustling, requiring a brief wait before we could be seated. I opted for the Linguisa omelette, while my three companions selected different dishes, and I was truly astonished by how quickly our orders were served. All of our food was absolutely excellent; I very rarely award a perfect 5-star rating, but this establishment unquestionably deserved it. The owners themselves were incredibly attentive and hospitable, making our experience even better. We definitely plan to patronize this wonderful spot again the next time we find ourselves in town.

To begin, I must acknowledge that the location is quite appealing, and the service we experienced was truly outstanding, leaving no room for complaint in that regard. However, the food itself proved to be very unsatisfying. The bread used in items like the French toast, pancakes, and cornbread was remarkably bland. My steak also presented and tasted as if it had come straight from a premium microwave dinner, completely lacking any flavor. In essence, the actual quality of the food we received across our three meals and three desserts absolutely did not justify the price point. To top it all off, we learned the muffins were from Costco; and while I genuinely love Costco muffins, it certainly made me pause and question the overall value. I left feeling genuinely disappointed by the food's quality and am quite surprised by how highly others rate this place based solely on its culinary offerings.

I was absolutely thrilled to stumble upon this adorable restaurant! The kitschy cow decor was so charming and unique, and the food was truly outstanding – those crispy hash browns and the waffle were incredibly delicious. Our entire party had a fantastic time here. I think we were particularly fortunate to visit when we did, especially since they now accept credit cards, which made the whole experience even smoother, and the wait time was noted as well.
